The HON Company Announces Two Vice Presidents
Jim Cahill Named Vice President, Education and Healthcare; Dan Wallace Promoted to Vice President, Customer Support

Muscatine, IA – March 2008 – As the education and healthcare marketplace continues to grow and evolve, their needs from furniture suppliers are dramatically changing, as well. To stay abreast of these changes, and provide solutions not only from a product perspective; but customer support, as well, The HON Company is pleased to announce two key organizational changes: Jim Cahill has been named Vice President, Education and Healthcare; and Dan Wallace has been promoted to Vice President, Customer Support. Cahill will take on his new responsibilities in addition to those accompanying his current role of Vice President, Systems.

In addition to continuing his previous role of Vice President, Systems, Cahill will manage HON’s strategic direction for both the education and healthcare sectors. Joining HNI Corporation in 1993, Cahill has held various engineering, production management and production design management positions. He began his career with Allsteel Inc. in 1993 and has held various engineering, production management and product design management positions during his tenure with the HNI Corporation.
Cahill holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa, a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
In his new role as Vice President, Customer Support, Wallace is committed to meeting customer expectations and improving efficiency. Returning to his roots, Wallace first joined The HON Company in 1998 as a customer service representative. He has held several leadership positions within the company, most recently, Director of Sales Development and Operations. Wallace holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
